The Drunk Chipmunk

birdman this is like if Alvin (of the Chipmunks) got bitter, got soused on hard, cheap liquor, and then played his heart out without writing down any lyrics.

it's spontaneous and works nearly the entire way through. a great example of conceptual improv. Favorite track: Sunrises.

about

These are considered anti-versions of what Chipmunk songs are usually like. They are not all well put together. They are originals ad-libbed off the cuff, and it sort of tells a bare bones story about drinking. I could have cleaned things up here, but I don't think that was the point. They are almost poems put to music, but I feel like even that gives this too much credit.

I tried to lower the chipmunk sound a bit so it comes off like a drunken uncle version of The Chipmunks.

Also the last bonus track was for shits and giggles, since I have seen youtube videos do that with a lot of albums!

Thank you for listening. This was in hindsight a lot of fun. I recorded it over the last two weeks. A few of the songs, I was terribly drunk, but I was in character?
